MATCHMAKING IS BROKEN

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. LOL
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. LOL
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? LOL
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Matchmaking broken, every time
What should be happening instead? Every time
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Repair

    @XHelperZ 

    Those changes your are telling other people about are great if they did not know.

    However that has little to no impact on the state of ranked matchmaking because since inception Plat Ranked players and above are actually not allowed to play in ranks more than 1 rank lower than their rank. Therefore Plat ranked players could at best be found in gold lobbies and Plat and above ranks should never be found in Bronze lobbies.

    This is not something they are addressing in the future update you have linked here and therefore that is misleading as to fixing the issue at hand.

    The problem the OP is talking about is however being looked into by EA/Respawn as to what the cause of the problem is and a Fix for that will happen, I just do not know when. Stating otherwise is misleading.

    Yeah you're right, I've only seen a post later on that day that stated that they were investigating this issue, thanks for posting this as I would've forgotten to even correct myself here.

    This is really really fun. There probably isn't a season that a game developer hasn't broken this game.

    Fortunately, you don't have to pay for this, but it's a little sad that challenges are set that you should try to do, even though the biggest challenge is trying to play against bugs. Maybe I should give up on the game, even though I've put in quite a few hours and the game has been generally entertaining. Now I don't think I can even stand it and I don't understand how every season the game is more and more broken.
    I don't think even the game developer knows and now we're in this mess.
    Try to hold on, but I think I'll close the game and enjoy the games that are in a condition that can be played.
