Messed up UI, game and visual effects

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. my whole game is messed up
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. my whole game is messed up

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Ever since I've changed my res to 4:3 stretched

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? UI and game is messed up, can't see a lot of vfx etc
What should be happening instead? normal UI and game vfx
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I suppose it would happen if you change the resolution to 4:3 stretched; tried to make it into fullscreen without blackbars. Followed the instructions of a video that is linked below in the compose field

So I've been trying to get apex legends to open in 4:3 stretched mode, but I can't seem to be able to do it.
I've done the research and made changes to nvidia control panel settings, launch option and autoexec commands shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3j4DgBbitY&
It gave me some weird results and whether it's just a bug or it's fixable.
Apex upon launch, black bars on top and bottom
Apex main screen (everything you see is clickable but there's this "weird bottom bar")
Again the weird bottom bar
Back to black bars in loading screen
The UI is completely messed up at this point
Can't seem to show legend info and squadmate names when I right-click
Again weird UI
Went into spectate mode and UI is still messed up
Can't see the edge of zone both when I'm in and out of the zone, when I'm outside the zone I dont see the "orange barrier" at all.
When looking at loot on the ground, I can't see its colors (whether it's blur purple or golden), only when I hover over the item then I am able to see the level of the attachment.
Also when somebody is downed, I am unable to see whether they are using their knockdown shield or not and could not see the color of it unless I damage it (then it only shows the dmg text in the color of the knockdown shield.
Another issue is that I can not see when caustic's gas went off (my teammate got knocked down so I shot his gas can to provide cover); I heard the sound but and screen turned into a "greener UI" but not the "affected by gas UI".
