What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? JonLucPicard13
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Are you using any software with an overlay? Yes
If yes, can you list them here? steam FPS counter
If you disable this software, does that have any effect? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Pathfinder
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Throughout Olympus
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Happened from the moment I touched down, might have been true in the air but I didn't notice
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? First match of the day after the new patch
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 23.03.21 20:16 PST
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? My sensitivity drops to 1/4 of what it usually is. I usually play on 1.4 with a DPI of 850. Once I had a free second in game I adjusted my DPI up to 5 and it felt almost normal except every so often, the sensitivity would either dip or jump up.
What should be happening instead? Consistent sensitivity in game
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure, unless this is widespread this might be a tough one to squash. Maybe you can see something in my logs.

Crazy bug in-game, sensitivity dropped very low so I couldn't even really look around.  Had to go into settings to adjust it up so I could even function.  Bumped the sensitivity up to 4x what it usually was and it was almost playable except for the fact that even at that higher level, the sensitivity would dip and jump at random times.  I know it wasn't my mouse because the sensitivity itself didn't change and it tracks smoothly both in in-game menus and out of the game.  I have no idea what could be causing this.

  • @JonLucPicard13 what mouse do you have, does it have any soft ware to it and does it have sensitivity adjusters on the mouse?

  • @EA_Atic Thanks for the response,

I've got a Logitech G502 Lightspeed, it uses Logitech G-Hub, and there are sensitivity adjusters on the mouse.  I do however doubt any of that caused this.  The sensitivity adjustments are locked away behind  2 button press that is very difficult to do by accident and the sensitivity did not change in the menus or outside of the game. I also doubt the software was an issue because, while it has the ability to create game-specific profiles, the sensitivity didn't change in any of the in-game menus, all of which would have triggered a profile switch.  Plus I didn't have game-specific profiles set up anyway.

  • Hello @EA_Atic

I am aware that this is an old post but this was the post that I found most useful by googling my issue. I hope you might be able to help me since my issue is the same as the person who made this post and I am also using  Logitech G-hub however there is an option to disable game-specific settings which I have done my mouse is Logitech pro wireless.

Please ask for whatever information you deem necessary at the time of making this comment I am unsure of what I should be providing to you.

@JonLucPicard13 I have the same mouse and no issues like this. I have my G-Hub detect that I am playing Apex and set the DPI for that.
