My S22 Badge is not Animated

Platform:PC

AMD or Nvidia Model Number GeForce RTX 4070
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Steam ID :Temi
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 2024-11-05
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
How severe is your issue? Minor

Hello,

Just a minor thing that I hoped could get fixed.

I made Plat III in Split 1 and Diamond 4 in Split 2 in Season 22.

My Ranked badge should be animated but its not. Is it possible to get this fixed.

    During season 22, in split 1 I reached Diamond 2 and in split 2 I reached master. However, I did not get an animated badge.

    Below, I quote EA:

    "This Season, you’ll get an animated version of the Season-end reward badge if you match or surpass the rank you achieved in the first split."

    According to that I should get an animated badge.

    @9946695 It should only animate if you had ended both splits on the same rank. Since you've hit diamond in one split, and plat in the other, your badge would be a static diamond badge.

    @Midnight9746That doesn't really make sense? Normally its if you match or exceed your Split 1 Ranked you get animated. If the animated only stops at your split 1 rank, why would you keep playing after you reached it?

    I went back and doubled checked. Even on the Ranked page it says:

    "...you’ll get an animated version of the Season-end reward badge if you match or surpass the rank you achieved in the first split...."

    So even if my split 2 ranked is higher it should still be animated

    @9946695 I'm not aware of any other recent changes, but in the S21's patchnotes, it says:

    Upheaval Ranked Rewards

    • Your end-of-season rewards will now be determined by the highest Rank tier you achieved during the entire season
    • Split Rewards: your season-end reward badge will be animated if you match your Split 1 Rank in Split 2
      • If you do not achieve this, you will get the normal version of your badge

    I created a case about this, they told me to open also make a post here apart from the ticket, then i see that they close the ticket without resolving it or commenting it from their side... and no reply here either...

    @Midnight9746 Yes but the way that worked was even though i made gold in split 1 then plat in split two, i got an animated plat badge. To my knowledge nothing has changed?

    @9946695 When you had gotten the animated plat badge after hitting gold in split 1 and then plat in split 2, that must of been prior to S21.

    From what I remember, S20's rank rewards only went off of your split 2 rank while S21 goes off of the highest rank achieved in both splits, with the badge only being animated if those ranks matched.
