Same problem here
-seen alot of ppl say "there are just not enough players on switch" wich is obviously not true b cuz everyone is reporting smothe matchmaking before hiting 100 kills or getting high kill games
-some ppl are saying "turning off cross play is shoting yourself in the foot" i would agree if this was a turn based game, a coop experience or if the difference between platforms wasnt as massive as it is in apex... Tiny people from across a platoe sniping and headshoting a switch player who could barely see their pixels then rush them at almost twice the speed the switch player could hope to run or react just isnt fair.. And thats not even mentioning the experience difference
-some ppl have said "if your destroying switch lobbys you should hold your own in cross play" but people arent necessarily destroying lobbys to get this, just getting a certain kill count creates this issue.
-if every person that did well or got a good amount of matches faces this issue that means someone else will take theyr place and destroy the lobby, who would then eventually get this issue, thus i dont think its merely skill based matchmaking, its a flat out bug
-also as everyone has pointed out even those droping consecutive wins with ~10 kills were constantly getting lasered with no chance as soon as they tried crossplay..The top of the switch community cant compete with the below average in crossplay (i asume they are below average cuz we only had the game for like a week now)
I guess EA is never going to address this issue.
