What happens when the bug occurs? It kicks you to the lobby and says "Party Leader quit" despite no party leader quitting
What should be happening instead? When you die? Your team mates having the chance to grab your beacon

Was in a match with my friend, we were heading to the burned area, I landed on the one ship, was getting shot at, dove down to the bottom, still was getting shot so I leaped down the ledge, when i got killed, i was immediately kicked to the lobby with the message "Party Leader Quit" despite both players still being in the match, including my party leader.
