OLED Burn In/Image retention

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:Xbox Series S
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox Series X
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? MuppetOwl
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. In a match GUI
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. In a match GUI
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 100
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I have got burn in on 2 LG tv's and Samsung G8 Oled monitor from Apex. I play many other games and Apex is not even the game I play the most but only have burn in from Apex Legends.
What should be happening instead? No burn in
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Apex for 100s of hours on a Oled TV or Monitor.

Please add options to adjust the GUI transparency. The GUI now is really bad for OLED screens with burn in from Ultimate and health and shield bars.
I now have burn on both my LG TV's and have started to see sign of it on gray background on my Samsung G8 Oled monitor also.
Never had any issues with burn in before Apex. I play many other games like ESO, COD etc Apex is the only game I have brun in from even when its not the game I play the most

    @MuppetOwl

I'm fairly certain the LG has features that help prevent burn in, the Samsung likely does too.

    Thanks.

  • Yes, they do have features to prevent burn-in and I use them regularly. The features haven't stopped the 100% opaque HUD/GUI of Apex Legends to cause permanent burn-in damage to my OLED and countless others tv's. Just Google "Apex legends oled burn in" and see for yourself. I won't / can't play Apex anymore until a patch is released to have some sort of transparency slider for the HUD - out of fear in causing further damage to my tv. Is it that difficult to implement?? Please fix this EA / Respawn!
