What happens when the bug occurs? This is the first time it's happened to me, but after landing on the dropship we got the "Return to the battle!" message with the 30 seconds countdown. I look down below us to find that the dropship was moving very close to the arch where one would also get the message if flying off of a baloon and getting too close to it, so I figured "ah, it's probably just that." - The countdown presist, so I try to jump off the dropship to see if it helps. The countdown keeps going, but stops every time I jump. Eventually, the timer reaches 0 on RaSun86 who drops dead, then me.
What should be happening instead? Not sure what to put here.. ;P Not what happened, at least! ;p
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I believe if you manage to get the dropship to do the same movement/path as it took in our game, it will happen to you too. Not sure though, but I think what triggered it was that it was flying too close to the top of the mountain-arch where you see me look down at in the beginning of the attatched video.

Yup! This happened to me and my buds yesterday. I think it happens whenever you are on the dropship as its going over a big hill. One of us it didn't affect because he jumped off before it gave us the message. So he ran around reviving us on every single respawn beacon LOL
we got second place.
10/10 would "Return to the Battle!" again.
Just happened to me when I jumped off the top level of the loot ship onto a lower floor, I was the only one on the ship affected. If you jump off the ground the timer stops, and you can try to climb up a surface or take a zipline to refresh your timer while off the ground. Climbing up on a balloon did not seem to stop the timer though.
The same bug happened also to me two hours ago and I manage to find a way to ''solve'' it. After dropped the supply ship and encountered the bug I took a balloon and used it to move over a mountain (a place where you cannot stay and you are forced to leave), then I simply jumped down and the timer was gone. I think that using this method force the timer to restart (cause it should start counting only when you are over that places)

Also experienced on Xbox One S. Using a zipline set by pathfinder resets the 30 second timer. Respawned twice in the same match and both times the bug persisted. The first rez i had instant death upon landing, the second I had the 30 second timer.
This just happened to me.
ReproStep:
1: Get on Dropship.
2: Get knockdown
3: Get revived.
4: Notice how nothing will get you back to battle. I tried zipline and get out of bounds to reset the timer. ONLY jumping was putting the timer on pause.

Yeah, same hear. For me it seemed like being on air stops the countdown. Also redeploy does not help. My Squad did it twice on me, no chance.
