I just re-downloaded Apex Legends after a few months hiatus, I try to launch the gamed and when it tries to load it gives me the error message, "pak hash does not match calculated hash." It's an engine error it says and I have found no one else who has this issue. I'd like to play with my friends, I need help!

I had this issue on the steam version of apex. All I did was verify the files on steam and it worked perfectly fine. If you don't know how to do that you go into "properties" on apex, click "verify this games integrity files are installed correctly" and verify them. It should take no more than 5 minutes depending on you're computer.

@NatetheGration I have the same issue for two days. I tried to verify the game file, update my drivers and even re-download the game. None of them works. I start to wonder is there sth wrong with my computer but it seems to be an download file error.

I redownloaded the game twice, same issue. Wonder when this issue will be wider spread or fixed. Frustrating

ye and this engine error seems to be a new one cause no one was complaining about it before when I searched it on google. And I just saw a hot fix and the error still there. Frustrating.Hope it will get fixed soon

@SeanFu777 oh btw I was on steam version and I just switch to EA version, still got the same issue, I begin to doubt that there is sth wrong with my computer...

Hey @NatetheGration Is that the same error as the one reported in this thread? Can you also try the workarounds suggested in that thread and see how that goes?

This isn't the same issue, I also have the issue and that thread's replies don't work for it.
