Party Leader Quit Notification but the party leader was online

What happens when the bug occurs? After dying in apex and returning to the lobby, the game kicks me from my friends lobby and when I try to join back, I get a ‘Party Leader Quit’ notification at the bottom of my screen, only the thing is, my friend is still online and actively inviting me back.
What should be happening instead? I should be more than able to stay in the lobby and not have that notification bombarding me after every single match.
