I am having the same problem. It all started after cross-prgression occured. I have Uninstall and re-installed numerous times. I have done a power cycle. Still nothing. I don't know what else to do.
Hey folks, sorry to hear that you’re all unable to start matches. Could you please give us more details on what exactly happens when you try to do so? Any error messages? Is the option to start a ranked match available for you?

For me me I haven't got any error messages it just when ever I ready up it says that the rest of my party isn't readyed up yet.Even tho I'm not in a actual party. Along with that when I'm waiting in lobby it doesn't show my name tag (above my character) that I can click on to see Al my stats of the season and overal. It also won't let me join or invite other friends. So I'm pretty much just stuck in a nameless party. Also it did seem to start after the cross progression update.

hii same happened with me im on xbox series x it happened to me some day later after getting cross progession i had no orther account only one from start soo the problem is first it dont letme in the lobby while saying im unable to play online after some clicks i get into the lobby and there is no username and the account level it shows zero person in lobby soo when i try to que it says party not ready and that makes me unable to plau games everythiing i can * the lobby stores legends but can play i happened to me more then a month agoo i have no updates on xbox one my pc friend told me it happend to him at that time bbut he got update and now its fixed for him soo in next xbox update for apex it will be fixed i wish we get up date on that final fanatesy event on 9 jan kindly apex give update for consoles to fix this

- 2 years ago@Aimos1992 hopefully friend we will get update on this new event coming and then it will be fixed coz my pc friend had a update then it got fixed for him im also waiting from a month now for update when bug happened to u me it happened on 5 december

@EA_MariHey, this bug occured right after the cross progression update. So what i believe the problem is, servers are not recognizing your "hardwere identiy" or your "user name" thus wont even showing the name nor letting you play. Whenever i try to start a game, it says "Party not ready". The only way to fix this is to either connect to a diffrent router or your mobile via hotspot. We need this fixed in the next update. Thank you!

When I try to join a friends game or lobby I don’t have the option to join and it says that my party has 0/0 players so I can’t even start a solo game.
- 2 years ago@EA_Mari Hi, this bug occurred for me and my friend after accepting cross progression on xbox about a month ago. As a result we load up the game and our name and badge does not appear in the lobby, you can select game modes but cannot ready up often with it saying "party not ready" (even when solo) or "0/0 party". If you sit in the lobby after a period of time the game modes will change and only orientation matches will appear which I can't enter as I'm level 1500+.
Restarting the game multiple times, most often 10+ times will allow me to get badge and name above my head and I can play the game, however playing usually a game or two will cause the bug to come back and you can't ready up.
We have tried all troubleshooting and changing router settings and no luck. Every other video game works perfectly fine. It just broke after accepting cross progression and seems to be some network issue on the games end. After moving home for Christmas I was able to play flawlessly on my home Internet, but it's like the cross progression update has blocked my IP address in my apartment. Neither me or my friend have any ban history at all. Issue has affected us for a month and game is practically unplayable, please fix. Apologies if long winded but wanted to explain everything and I'm sure others with same issue can relate to my post. Thank you. - 2 years ago
For me, it was like this. I open Apex on my OG Xbox One, got "This profile is not permitted to play online..." alert, I spam Retry button, I got into lobby, shows no player name and cannot start matcmaking saying "Party is not ready", also the matchmaking option is stuck on Orientation Match only. Hi, I have the same issue on my Nintendo Switch, my name tag is not showing up in the lobby and I can't invite other players. When I try to queue up for a match it says "Party not ready" even though I'm on my own. When I exit to the title screen I get an error saying "This profile is not permitted to play online".
I tried making a new account to see if it would work but the same happened to the new account as well.
And as some people mentioned, this bug started happening right after I got the cross-progression update
It's worth mentioning that I can play the game on my laptop with my original account without any issues so it must be a bug in the switch version of the game.

Well there's no mention of any fix for this in the recent patch notes, I think us with this issue are just being forgotten about. Apex is pretty much the main game I've played for the last two years, and now after cross progression introduced a bug 2 months ago that won't let me play it looks like it's time to call it quits. There's probably not enough people affected by this edge case bug for them to care to fix. Just mental how a game company can have a bug that literally stops people from playing their game and they don't want to fix it lol.

This has been happening to me and my fiancé too, since crossprogression came out. Haven't been able to play in months. Literally ridiculous. I've made posts on here, contacted EA customer service and support, to be told it'll get fixed in time and months and months go by I still can't play. I've spent so much money and time into apex and I can't even play. The screen has no username above the character and no level, try to ready up and it says player not ready despite trying to ready up. Can't join friends or invite friends. Literally cannot do anything except access the store. It's a joke. Can't play but the store works perfectly fine. Literally for months. I just want this to be fixed because across 4 or 5 different threads there must be over 2 dozen people with this issue but no one replies no one wants to help us

Mine started after the cross progression update. When I'm at the menu, it takes forever to get into the lobby. Sometimes it'll give me "No servers found". After multiple close and opening the game, it will finally let into the lobby. But my gamer name is missing. I can't get into any game, pubs or ranked, nothing. It'll even put me in orientation match. Even with that I can't get into a game. I can't invite or accept game requests. I have done everything. And it still don't work. I've have not played in weeks. Apex is slowly dying. Lol

this bug happened to me a month ago no username no level in lobby unable to play the game now its more then a month and apex didnt fixed that just coz only few players have that to take their attention soo they care about it kindly fix thisEA we are unable to plau u guys are fixing minor bugs and nerfs buffs i know they are important too but unable to play game is seriouly what i should say its soo bad kindly fix this EA soo we can atleast play game we cant even play a single game from when this bug blessed us also there are many peoples i know not majority but not just soo less these players dont reply at a sngle post post of then creat theor own post and then got 2 3 replies and then next guy make his own bug section now happy to see now its going like the way it is kindly fix this EA apex kindly doo it b4 season end atleast we can complete our battlepasses
