How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Little to no impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? When joining a teammate through the friends list menu, chat history of the players joined is presented.
What should be happening instead? No history of chat between players before you join should be present.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have two players talk to each other in the main menu via chat, have a 3rd player join and he will be able to see the chat prior to him joining.
I discovered the other day that you can see parts of chat history between other players when joining a squad. A few days ago I joined a friend of mine through the in-game list and to my surprise I could see the chat log 30 minutes prior to my joining. I am unsure if this is intentional but seems to be a huge breach of privacy. The same thing happened to me today when I joined a group of 2 players which I recently friended as I enjoyed playing with them. I just felt that I should let you know that this is an issue and seems like it could be a very big issue with many users as it could lead to information being shared with users of the game of which it is not intended. I am currently unsure as if this issue is present when joining a squad through the opt-in feature you recently added. If it is, then an even bigger problem is presented when sharing other users chat history with unacquainted players.
