Pro controller disconnecting while playing apex on switch

Have you tried disconnecting the Joy-Cons from your Switch to test and see if that makes a difference at all? You should be able to disconnect them through the controller menu. 

If you're able to give that a try please let me know if the Pro Controller is still disconnecting. Thank you!
