For some reason my pro controller disconnects after like 5 mins into playing apex legends. This does not happen to any of my other games. I’ve checked if the controller had an update and the game. They both did not. Any idea why?

Do you have any other wireless devices connected to your Switch? If so, can you try disconnecting the other devices to test and see if that makes any difference?
This is still happening to me maybe it's because I'm Nintendo switch lite but it only stops working for apex
Yea man good luck. I think they gave up on the switch port tbh. It’s still very unplayable. They should just bring the mobile version to switch at this point.

The only way I’ve been able to fix this is to make sure both joycons are UNPLUGGED from the system and then use the pro controller. That worked for me so unfortunately I don’t know how to fix the issue on the Lite edition.
