PS4-Controller remap deactivates being able to ping on map screen

What happens when the bug occurs? I'm playing with a Standard PS4 controller and I've remapped my buttons to have Jump on R1, Ping on x and "Button Puncher". See attached screenshot. With the conclusion that I'm not able to ping on the map anymore, neither with R1, nor with x If I open the inventory and wanna ping ammo, heals etc. it's still mapped to R1, which is very confusing. Please fix this, because apart from that it is the perfect keybind for controller 🙂
What should be happening instead? Pinging with either x or R1
