[PS5] Can't get into Apex since the update

Hey Legends,

While the issue is still ongoing, we currently do have a work around which will allow those who have received the Season 20 patch early to regain access to the game. To do this you will have to install and play the PS4 version of Apex Legends onto your PS5. We have included the instructions below. 

 

Please note; if you are still on the S19 version of the game, you will not need to follow these instructions and can continue playing as normal.

If you played Apex previously on PS4:

• Launch PS5 > Go to the PlayStation Store > Search Apex Legends
• Click Apex > Press the "..." icon > Select Version > Select the version labeled "PS4"
• Install this Version

If you have never played Apex on PS4:

• Sign into the same account you use on PS5, on the PlayStation Store from your PC Browser: store.playstation.com
• Search for "Apex Legends" on PS4
• Click on the "Add To Library"
• Now that you own the PS4 Version of Apex Legends, repeat the steps from previous method
