PS5 Next-Gen version not showing most of my friends who are online playing

@TeCNeEkI have this same problem as well, ever since I downloaded the next gen version. As far as I can tell, my friends also playing on the PS5 version are visible in Apex. However everyone playing on the PS4 version (98% of my friends) it doesn’t show playing Apex at all even though they are. Till this gets some sort of fix I have to use the PS app on my phone as my friends list to see who is online and playing Apex… fml 

I should have just stuck with the PS4 version that seems to be the same with less issues.
