@KraberGod9167-YT Naming and shaming is against the Forum's TOS. I would go edit those names out. Meanwhile, I'm on PC and the leaderboard, (I see the platinum one), has the same issue.
Here's the overview. Everyone currently placed 3rd to 10th do have low participation points and higher kill points, but I'm not sure if they're cheating or not. The top 2 players on the other hand is a different story.
The player in first place:
The player in second place:
If you haven't noticed, the player in first place, (when you add up their points), only has a total of 1,081 points, while the player in second place has a total of 3,184. This is clearly an issue when the leaderboard says the first player has 5,157 points and the second player has 4,394 points. I've also did the math for every other player in the top 10. The players in 3rd to 10th place have points equal to the number being displayed. (In other words, the scoring is correct for the top 3-10 players).
The top 2 players are the ones with the incorrect score. If their scores were corrected, it would change who's in the top 10.
The player in first would be dropped out of the top 10 and place in the top 30%. (If you look at my score in the first screenshot, I have a total of 1,091 points. That's more than their 1,081 points. So, they'll be below me on the leaderboard).
The player in second would drop out of the top 10 as well. I don't know the points of the player in the top 100th place, so its hard to say if the current second place player would be in the top 20%, top 10%, part of the top 100's, etc.
Besides the points not correctly adding up for the players in first and second place, look at their points breakdown:
The player in second place had scored more points across the board than the player in first place. Here's the difference in their points:
- The top two players have incorrect points being displayed, (as in the points are not being added up correctly).
- The second place player has more points than the first place player, according to the points breakdown.
- The players in 3rd to 10th place do have the correct points being displayed, but have low participation points. I'm unsure if this indicates cheating.
- If the points were corrected for the top 2 players, it would drop them both out of the top 10, (putting the 1st place player in the top 30%, and the 2nd place player somewhere between the top 10 players and top 30% of players).
@Midnight9746 Thank you for making me aware of the name situation, I will sort that out quickly, it will probably be every leaderboard and there will be worse ones than mine but mine is still 60% filled with cheaters and like I said if there’s 60% in top ten alone how many total, I even went and messaged one of the people exploiting and they said “go and cry to respawn” and when I said it’s cheating the response was “so?”. It’s pretty pathetic and I just can’t believe respawn is about to let them all get away with it. I’ve played since the first week of release and in the current ranked rumble I haven’t played any games to determine an amount of points/score because I honestly do not see the point, because even if I happen to end up getting a really good score, I am not going to end up getting the rewards I am deserving of or might be able to earn had people not been cheating, it’s not only demotivating me to play the game but it’s gonna do it for a lot of others too until the game falls off 😬
@KraberGod9167-YT In both this rumble and the last, I've gotten to the top 20% of players. Which meant that I would of gotten the Mastiff gun skin from the first rumble, and I would be getting the car gun skin from this rumble.
However, due to those cheating and exploiting, the "top 20%" became the top 30%, as cheaters and exploiters treated the leaderboards as their chance to show off that they're not getting banned. Its a bit harder to see this trend in the ranked rumble leaderboard, but its clear that cheaters and exploiters are competing to see who can show off more.
Hopefully EA/Respawn can resolve the issue and correctly award players for both rumbles.
I also wouldn't contact these players either. If anything, you should just report them, as contacting them could lead to them harassing you or causing other issues for you.
@Midnight9746Great advice Thankyou, I reported all using the exploit for “sabotage” and “exploiting” on apex, hopefully they can sort it because I’m gonna do my ten games before the update and hopefully they reward people accordingly and don’t award the cheaters, people exploiting like this shouldn’t receive any rewards atall for cheating in the first place IMO, I didn’t play the first rumble but I already saw all the problems with people getting between 1,000 and 2,000 kills in ten games which is IMPOSSIBLE 😂, it’s a bit stupid but hopefully respawn actually work on fixing this issue and not just ignore it as there are people in the top ten that are 5th and deserve 1st and people who aren’t in the top ten that should be……… it’s beyond fair for people who aren’t cheating 😕
