Rank resetting to Rookie / Users gaining 0 RP

    Hi, for clarity I'll repost the tweet from before again. 

    The actual rank loss should no longer happen, but there can be a visual rank loss, where you're told you deranked but didn't actually. 

    Also there will be an RP restoration for those affected.

    Edit: The restoration was applied. However if you have progressed past our previous position you won't be reset as this would roll you back.

What happens when the bug occurs? I lost ALL my rank, got hard reset to 0 RP
What should be happening instead? Not losing all RP

yes my rank says 96 now after a few games but I was Silver 3 before reset and gold 3 last season so I know it was not from new season rank loss

Hey @dhatpoggie,

It looks like there's an issue with the rank reset, but the studio is working on a fix. Hopefully they'll find the solution soon.

    @EA_QueenBee you guys work oin nothing aslong u get money u wont care.
    so many ppl have that issue and its still not fixed.

      @lejistzz They haven't fixed anything, just got deranked back to rookie 4 from silver 1 for second time just now

        @Buckwilddd Is there any point in jamming ranked when we don't know if the rank will all just be reset after working so hard to gain it

    @EA_QueenBee Is it even worth playing ranked then if you got reset like this? I'm not gana play ranked to climb 3 whole ranks if they are gana fix this.

    Hey a question we gonna get the ranks that we had or just gonna start the grind all over again 

    Befor a hard reset i was ar peak silver 1 and Its not a high rank but the road to it was painful and i just want to know do i need to start fro scrach or not

      What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. loading into a new game

      How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? around 7-8 then around 5 then as many as it took to get bk to silver 4 (over 10) (it's happend 3 times now!!!)
      When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) twice 15/02/23 once 16/02/23
      How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
      How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
      What happens when the bug occurs? My rank keeps dropping down to rookie 4. This happened twice yesterday then today I got half way through silver 4 assuming the issue was fixed loaded into a new game and BANG I'm back to rookie 4. Are you kidding me? Do I just sit this season out? I barely played last season because game chat wouldn't work now I can't progress through ranked?
      What should be happening instead? I should be keep my RP points duh
      Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know. Play the game.. Preferably before you release it to the public next time.

      There was a post on here yesterday with like 50 replies on it about the same problem now I can't find it to let you know it happened again? I hope you're fixing this not hiding it.  FIX YOUR GAME! Its not happened to anyone I've played with, similarly last season none of them had the broken game chat stop giving me all your bugs

      Demoted all the way back to rookie 4 when I finished Diamond 3 last season

    The same thing happened to me today twice playing on series x if it matters. I had a few games yesterday with no issue but then today a few games in I got dropped to rookie 4, I didn't even know you could get back down as far a rookie. Restarted game thinking it might be a visual bug and go back to normal but no dice. Continued playing as I was on with a friend, had a few games and it was counting all my points up from there but then when I hit rookie 1 BOOM back to rookie 4. when I chucks me back it gives me the points I earned in that game but from 0.  I got back up to bronze 2 before my friend got off but I gotta question whether its even worth continuing once I'm solo queing. Am I going to be able to catch up to my bud so we can play together as he ranks up or am I guna get de-ranked back to rookie and not be allowed to join his lobby?

    It has been a full day and still no fix kinda sad that a multi billion dollar company can’t fix their comp scene

    @EA_QueenBee i hope when the solution is Found you guys reset me back to where i Came from... First before season i was diamond for and new season Starts im gold 2 suddenly im Silver 4 then ranking back up to Silver 4 yesterday and now rookie 4.... Makes me sad bruh ... GT iZiohan (IZIohan)

    man i dont gat it why m i get 3 time back to rooki i was diamond in split 1 and plat 2 in split to 

    i go rooki to bronz i get back to rooki again

    Are we getting out back in our actual rank, because I’d be in diamond 1 by now just kinda dumb to come out with a amazing update then ruining it for the new player and the people that have played since day one. I’m no pro though so I know y’all will take your sweet time fixing it.

    Hello! Do you know if there’s been a fix yet? The same thing happened to me. I was Plat 2 before new season, got split to Gold 4. After a couple games I climbed to gold 3, and then was hard reset to rookie 4.
