Ranked get bugged after every split

What happens when the bug occurs? After every split on Ranked we both have different Rank Lv on lobby next to characters name and other Rank Lv down on left corner on mode selection. For example he was on previous split Platinum 2 and his current rank is Gold 4 but lobby count him as Platinum 2 and we can't join same party cause I am Rank Silver 3 (more than 1 lv difference)
What should be happening instead? Reset his rank to Gold 4 on both (mode selection and next to character name)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have two different players from previous rank split and join the new rank split to see that you will have other rank on name and other rank on mode selection (It looks like a visual bug but this affects party and in game match making you are Gold 4 and you fight vs Platinum 1 because it was bugged)

So when I tried me and my friend to join Ranked matches once again we couldn't play together cause his ranked was stuck back to his previous split as Platinum 2 and I am Silver 3. Thing is he is Gold 4 but Lobby got him as Platinum 2. This happens since Season 4. 4 seasons later and still the same. It looks like a visual bug. but still this count us as different rank and higher than 1Lv difference. (He has to play a match first so he gets his current rank *gold 4*). He got a match already and it didn't change. Still Platinum 2 on Lobby but his real rank Gold 4. The fun fact is that the game is counting him as Platinum 2 and he goes vs Platinum 3-1 Squads while he is just Gold 4
