Product: Apex Legends
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number nvidia gtx 1070
Enter RAM memory size in GB 16gb
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? BraltrBara
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible. BanditSteev, Uzkan52
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Experienced on multiple if not all
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? Most Likely pathfinder/caustic and bangalore
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Multiple different areas
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Multiple different activities (at any point during normal gameplay)
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Varying, sometimes first match, sometimes 3-5th, etc.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Every day since launch
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I crash and I get a memory error, telling me that memory could not be read or loaded. sometimes it was the 0x00000000 error, and sometimes others.
What should be happening instead? It shouldn't happen, I have plenty of ram dedicated to this process.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure, besides running my exact pc setup, although the issue seems to be fairly common online.
I've found purported fixes online, so far I've switched drivers to 417.71, lowered settings all the way down, and set the texture streaming budget to 6gb, it seems to have helped the frequency of the crashes a bit.
I'm getting the same crashes.
Looks like dodgy coding (so no real fix by us end users). The program tries to access an invalid memory location.
Could be to do with the anti-cheat system. It probably checks RAM/ virtual memory for cheats randomly, but most likely just the coding.
Getting the same issue here, since start of the launch

None of these work arounds will work.
It's a coding problem
