My name is Manuel and I work for NVIDIA. We are trying to reproduce the DXGI error which users report started with Season 13 but have not been successful so far. I have some questions to ask of the community to help our QA team:
1. What is your repro rate (eg. every 5 matches, after 30 minutes of gameplay, etc.)?
2. What game mode are you playing (battle royale rank/unranked or arena ranked/unranked)?
3. Do you see crashes more frequently in certain maps?
4. Are you using any overlays while gaming (eg. Microsoft Gamebar/MSI Afterburner/Discord overlay/etc.)? If so, does disabling them have any effect on the crashes?
5. What graphics card model are you playing with?
6. What operating system are you running on your PC?
Issue seems to be related to NVIDIA drivers indeed.
Not sure whether or not it manifests on Win10, though It's definitely happening on Win11.
Are you able to share a DxDiag?
That kind of information makes it easier to narrow down the causes for this error.
I've posted complaints on a similar thread, I gave the game a go yesterday.. after repairing and doing all the troubleshooting steps god knows how many times earlier through out last weekend, I played 2 or 3 games yesterday and I had crashed back to back in the same game dying on hot drops...
I have attached a DxDiag.
I reverted my drivers back to an old version since my brother was on 497.09 and never had any crashes (Win 10, GTX 970).
However, I still experience crashes:
* Win 11
* GTX 2080
* Tried 497.09 and one of the newer 5xx drivers
I play mostly ranked (which means Storm Point map)- did one match today and crashed two times. One exactly at the start and last one was when the match ended.
