- I have nothing else running besides origin.
Try downloading driver version 417.71
https://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers
If this wont work try a deep uninstall of the game here under issues relating origin and apex legends:
- I tried both of those and still having the issue.
Hmm have you updated windows and run a virus scan?
- windows is up to date and no virus found.
Are you getting this in any other games?
Open origin and go into the origin drop menu in the top left.
Application settings then installs and saves.
disable cloud storage.
Now run the game play with settings then come out.
Go to your user files and then saved games folder.
In the respwan folder is all your settings.
Delete the profile folder and the files in the local folder. (if you want to keep you keybind settings do not delete the settings.cfg file)
This will reset your settings. try default out in training and see if this resolves the issue.
If so adjust your settings carefully incase its a specific setting.
- I was able to play in the training fine; maintaining 80+ fps
Cool see how it fairs in a match and mark the comment here that fixed this as the solution so others know what method fixed it for you.
If your still getting major drops let me know 🙂
- well what was happening was that I would be getting good frames in the training but when I went to an online game is when I had the issue.
I got it to work though. I switch to a different display port from the gpu to the monitor and it worked. How odd,
Unless its a weakness in the cable and changing/moving it fixed it in a way.
sorry to revive the thread but did you ever fix it? woke up and now valorant and rust are both stuck at 15 fps only when I play fullscreen and fullscreen borderless, game runs smooth in windowed mode its just windowed mode is annoying and I'd like to find a fix
- @Kekqzy Try switching display mode?
