Re: Negative Apex Coins

@EA_Mako I was denied a refund in January, the 2 nights ago I got a random refund from Microsoft, now I have -11k. Y'all seriously need to fix this issue because that's unfair.

    Hi @pixlheart,

If you have a negative coin balance, that means a refund was provided but your account had already spent the coins.

If you didn't request the refund, you'll want to check with Microsoft or anyone else who may have had access to the account to make that request on your behalf.

Any coins added to the account in the future would go towards repaying that negative value before being available for use on the account.
  • I’ve also received negative apex coins after the new update. I’ve never not once gotten a refund for anything in Apex. I had a positive balance before the update and now I have over 25,000 negative apex coins… No one touches my account or anything so I honestly would like someone to fix this glitch I have nothing to repay because I’m not a scammer… I legit put so much money in this game.

  • I am currently on the same boat. Also, I had 4000 coins and now negative when i never asked for a refund to begin with.

    Hey @Breakdown87,

Have you redeemed any codes for Apex Coins, or have you only received coins that were purchased directly in-game?

Just with a quick look here, it seems a recent PlayStation purchase is the one that was refunded.

If that wasn't requested by you through Sony, I would check with anyone else that may have had access to the account or payment methods that they hadn't requested this through PlayStation either.

  • I never asked for a refund in the first place. I was told to contact PSN, when I reached out to resolve the issue, I was told that PSN policy has a no refund for in game currency. I am still missing 4000 coins and still negative 2,700.

    Hi @Breakdown87,

I would check that the payment method used on PSN is yours, or if you had used someone else's payment method for that purchase, it would be worth checking with them as well.

The only reason we would remove the coins is if they were no longer paid for, such as if a third party let us know a payment was refunded or charged back, for example.

Especially if you did not request that specifically, it would be worth double-checking which payment method was used for the recent PSN purchase and following up with them from that point. These are not initiated from us but only come in response to a purchase being refunded by another platform.
  • I bought a PSN gift card ($100) Then proceeded to pay for apex coins ($60.00)

never used my debit or credit card. Never asked for a refund.

after buying the apex coins, I still have $40.00 leftover.

Now have-2,700 currency on my Apex account.
