Re: ps5 apex legends not permitted to play online

I have same problem on my PS5 i downloaded Apex and it keeps going to the password reset screen? I have changed my password on my ea acoount and its the same and other times it states can not connect to playstation network when the ps5 is connected? I have tried changing server from the London to others but still reverts back to the reset password screen?

@Back2skooldazedoes my ea account password have to be the same as the PSN log in? or xbox gold live log in?

My email address on the playstation network log in is different to my xbox and different to my ea account is this the problem? do all my email address's on each console and ea acount have to be the same?

@Back2skooldaze No, there's no requirement for your EA accounts to have the same password as your console account. In fact, it's likely more secure to have separate passwords for each account. 

For your issue, I think there's might be an account mixup. Most people use the same EA account for each console account, but there's no requirement to do so. 

I think that might be happening here, for example I see on your posting EA account there is a linked Xbox account, but there isn't a linked PS account. 

What you can do is go to ea.com, then log out. You can then log in using the PS login option. This will get you onto the appropriate EA account. You can then go to https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index?errorCode=15900&gameId=ebisu where you can find the relevant email, and you can initiate a password reset.

Hi David thanks for your reply I shall try logging out of ea and try ps5 to see if I can log in to connect ps5 to ea.

I downloaded apex on n switch and played no problem and that's not connected to my ea account ?
