Re: Rank resetting to Rookie / Users gaining 0 RP

Hi, for clarity I'll repost the tweet from before again. 

The actual rank loss should no longer happen, but there can be a visual rank loss, where you're told you deranked but didn't actually. 

Also there will be an RP restoration for those affected.

Edit: The restoration was applied. However if you have progressed past our previous position you won't be reset as this would roll you back.

    @EA_David My rank was restored today automatically, THANK YOU AFTER 2 WEEKS I CAN PLAY RANKED lmao, jk cheers for fix

    Who played and even surpassed the rank that should be at the beginning of the season will not have any compensation?

    @FocusMagma did u do anything to get your rp back? I haven't gotten any compensations for the lost rp yet.

    @Eyelice a couple posts on here listing the rank details, a couple live chats with ea support, dm'ing ea support on twitter and a bit of hope. I also left my rank at rookie 4 after the second reset. They probably saw my 200+ comp game this season and at 140 mmr lmao.

    I mean, they're not wrong.

    Actual rank loss doesn't happen anymore, only visual bugs.

    Well today i played ranked with my friend and started in gold 1 at 8034 pts then ended the game with 6 kills and a win, (my teamates had 4 kills combined) and i got like 500 pts, when i left i was still in the same rank, wasnt in platinum and i didnt get any of my points. Like..

    Obviously they are/were more concerned about the event to be fixed..... ofc it splashes in money! Ranked doesn't monetize at all for them. That's the sad truth! You can say about EA what you want, but what i read on Reddit, Respawn is even worse. 😒
