No, i was "Gold" ranked in Season 2 .

Oh, i wanted to reach that Diamond rank and use Sky Dive Trail, i love blue color. In the games, i see that a lot of people are using sky dive trails. I even saw level 20 Predator. So i was thinking that my account is under bug.

Hmmm alright then, my ranked badge looks "Gold" now because as you gave an example, i finished Season 2 as "Gold" ranked. Even i reach Diamond now, i will get reward 70 days later.

Correct. I'm Diamond IV and i'll get my rewards later, next ranked season.
There is also a reset every ranked season 1.5 Tiers down for all players.

Players in Platinum IV will be reset to Silver II.

If you reach Diamond IV you'll be reset to Gold II.
