Removal of EAC under Linux makes game unplayable on Linux

I hope this is not intentional. But if it is: Prepare from massive backlash from the entire Steamdeck and Linux community. This is honestly unaccaptable, i didn't buy anything but i can imagine that alot of people purchased ingame items recently and now they can't even play the game. What a * move...

Also a quick question: Could i get banned for manually reimporting the .so file that got removed to disable Proton compatibillity?
