@Nanashi1983 I suspect, this case is a bit something else. Seems there are two different cases concerning the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error. One where this error happens, but without PC freezing and only Apex crashing. The other one, with PC freezing, like in this case.
This one is probably memory-related, since a freezing PC, indicates a memory issue. You should run a Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check if your computer has memory problems.
I wouldn't be here if that resolve my problem right?. And it isn't just me. But A LOT of others too.
@Nanashi1983 The tool isn't meant as a solution, but to seek out the problem. And the developers do not interact directly on this forum (if not at all). Hopefully, this will be resolved in the next patch.
My answer is no, it did not show any error on my memory whatsoever, my suspicion that this has to do with the memory of the GPU, which is not far fetched from the device_error_hung. I have try playing other game that stressed out my GPU also, like no man sky, witcher 3, heck even final fantasy, just to test out.
@Nanashi1983 Then I would certainly NOT recommend playing ARK: Survival Evolved, for it would burn your GPU to ash. But your conclusion is a valid one. There could be some incompability or power transfer issue between CPU and GPU. Best combo's are Intel+NVIDIA or AMD+Radeon.
