Hi sorry for the long response time. I ended up taking the computer in as it started crashing other games and bluescreening my computer. my ram was the issue in the end even though I ran a memory diagnostic guess it got under the radar. replaced the ram and haven't had the issue since. thank you for your help in all this!
Thanks for following up and letting me know! It's good to hear you were able to figure out what was causing the crashes. 👍

Hey @spunkenn,
What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch Apex Legends? Is it still crashing? If there's anything else running that could be causing the crashes that may help to get around it.You can find more information on how to set up a Clean Boot over at the EA Help website. If you're able to give that a shot please let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Nothing out of the ordinary.
Clean boot.
Changed harddrive where it is installed.
Clean install.
Temp and components is fine.
Latest Windows update.
Stress tested RAM, CPU and graphics card. No issue.
I can play a few games, then all of a sudden it crashes.
I can start a session, first game crash.
Crash after a few hours as well.
The crash comes out of nowhere.
I never crash in the menu. Only when playing.
Last resort is reinstalling Windows. Doubt that helps thou.
No other game i play have this problem.
I get no fail message etc when it crashes. Just back to windows dashboard.

I'm wondering if it might actually be an issue with Easy Anti-Cheat. Have you had the chance to try repairing or reinstalling it to see if that makes any difference at all? You can find more details on how to do that over at the EAC website.
Let me know if that makes any difference at all. Thanks!

Same problem here. Been having those random crashes for a long time now. They are very sporadic. Before this week's micro update, everything was fine for like half a year. It seems to me like every update has the chance to bring them back, now the last micro update or the one before that, brought them back for me also. I mean, I always try the usual steps. But ultimately it always gets fixed on respawns end after an update so logically, at least for me, it seems to be a problem on respawns end.

Hi @spunkenn,
Thanks for sharing that MSINFO with us.
As I was looking through it, I did notice that Riot Vanguard is currently installed on your PC. In the past we've seen some issues where Easy Anti-Cheat and Riot Vanguard have had some conflicts, so I am curious if that might be happening here as well.
If possible, can you try disabling or uninstalling Vanguard to see if that makes any difference? Let me know if it helps when you've got the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

Hey @spunkenn,
Thanks for following up!
There is something else I'd like to try. I also noticed that the Xbox services are currently running in Windows. I've had issues in the past where games were crashing while these services were running, so can we try disabling them to see if that makes any difference?
You can disable the DVR using the following steps:1. Right-click the Start button
2. Click Settings
3. Go to Gaming
4. Click Captures
5. Disable the switch that says Record in the background while I'm playing a game
To disable the Xbox game bar use the following steps:
1. Right-click the Start button
2. Click Settings
3. Click Gaming
4. Select Game Bar
5. Turn off the switch that says Record game clips, Screenshots, and broadcast using Game Bar
Let me know if you're still running into any crashes after that. Thanks!

The DVR and Game bar is off. - 5 years ago
How long could it take before Respawn/EA might fix this? You see, apex is one of my main games and i am a streamer.

Hi, one thing that may help is to delete another set of local files. If you go to C:\Users\yourusername\\Saved Games\Respawn you'll find an Apex folder. Delete this, and start the game. It'll reset your settings, and will delete some backend data, but sometimes this backend data or weird settings combinations can be a factor with instability.
