Shield Battery not working while Sentinel is Equipped

I have the same problem but I don’t switch weapons. I do however have to make sure the sentinel is fully reloaded before the battery will work

I've found crouching allows you to use meds with the sentinel out if not fully loaded(full clip)

Standing, med button fails to execute a heal unless the sentinel is fully reloaded.

Quite weird.

When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) It has been happening to me at random anytime I use the sentinel. At least once a game.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)

What happens when the bug occurs? Basically, sometimes when I try to use a shield battery to heal while holding the sentinel it does not work. All that happens is I press the button to use the shield battery and instead of healing, nothing happens at all. I actually have to crouch down (or stand up) in order to use the shield battery. After standing up or crouching I can then use the shield battery. It happens intermittently but usually at least once or twice during a game. I find it happens more often after I have fired a few shots from the Sentinel shortly beforehand. Seems to happen across multiple legends and anywhere on the map. Shield cells seem to work fine. I have replicated the issue a few times in Firing Range as well.
What should be happening instead? The button to use shield battery should be working without having to change your position from crouching to standing or vice versa.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into a game and use the sentinel. After taking shield damage and maybe firing a few shots from the sentinel try to use a shield battery to heal while the sentinel is in your hands (not stowed on back). If you do this enough times it will happen. The shield battery will not work until you either crouch (if you are already standing) or if you stand (if you are already crouching). I have also been able to replicate it in Firing Range by using grenades to lower my shield then try to use shield battery. Although it seems to happen less for me in firing range.

What happens when the bug occurs? When attempting to use a shield battery by pressing 4 while holding a sentinel, the shield battery will not be used. Nothing will happen. If you switch weapons after pressing the shield battery button, it will briefly pull the shield battery out, then switch to the new weapon.
What should be happening instead? The shield battery should be used upon pressing 4.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hold a sentinel in your hand, and attempt to recharge shields. You might need to scope in once first, unsure if that triggers it. I always use a 4-8x.

This has been occurring for at least a week or two. I see various posts on the internet from other players dating as far back as February 5th about the same issue.

The same thing happened to me. I was playing arenas and consistently when trying to use shield cells to power up the sentinel, it wouldn't charge even though, I had the required amount of shield cells. sometimes it would fix for the next round and sometimes it wouldn't. I would sell the weapon and that didn't fix it, i would buy a new weapon then sell it and repurchase the sentinel and it wouldn't fix it either
