Skydive emotes not working

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:Sony Playstation 4

Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Pathfinder, lifeline
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Airship
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Trying to skydive from airship or trying to find before I start a match
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? My whole battle pass
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Since level 51 I have noticed it may have been before then
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I bought the season 8 battle pass I have made it to around level 78 . It shows that I have unlocked skydive emotes for a few characters. I go to game customization and I’m not able to find the few skydive emotes that I should have from my battle pass, even when playing with character that the battle pass show my skydive emote should be with I do not have them. I am able to ping from the airship, agree and disagree though.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to use my Skydives
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Looking into my account or let me video you all so you can see the issue as well. The skydives were my main reason on buying the battle pass

    Skydive emotes are automatically equipped once you’ve unlocked them.
    You can't find them in game customization.

    Depending on what platform you’re playing Apex Legends on, as well as your button inputs, how to do the skydive emotes may differ from person to person. If you haven’t mapped your controls any differently from when you first started the game, press X/A/M1 to perform your Skydive emote.
    Hold X while dropping to select a different skydive emote.

    Irrelevant response because I am having that same issue. I have the battle pass and am able to equip everything BUT the skydive emotes or "skydive trails." It says unlocked but is greyed out with no option to equip it from the battles pass nor the loadout > game customizations > skydive trails.

    Irrelevant response. Please read again.
    Skydive Emotes are automatically equipped to your character once unlocked and can't be found in loadout. There is a difference between Skydive Emotes and Skydive Trails. Skydive trails can only be earned by playing Ranked and reaching Diamond, Master or Predator.

    (You get the Skydive Trail Ranked reward next season, it can be found in loadout game customization and your trail will be available for 3 months)

    Skydive Emotes from Battle pass:

    Choose your character and Press the button that the game tells you while dropping from the ship to perform a skydive emote.

    If you haven't changed your controls I think it's X on Playstation, A on Xbox and Space on Pc.

    As of the last patch or at least the 1 or 2 before it they're is an option to "select" an emote. However, when I do that it no longer does anything.  During a skydive the option to press a and emote is available but among mashing, tapping, and even bringing up the emote wheel makes nothing happen.  Has happened for several legends and it's really annoying
