Spint Interruption on PC

Thanks for the report! We've seen some of these cases on PS4 and not so many on PC so far.

It looks like you could upgrade to the latest build of Windows 10. Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates. Your Nvidia GPU could use a new driver as well.

Have you tried unplugging all other USB devices from your PC aside from the keyboard and mouse to see if any other hardware could be the culprit?

The Windows update didn't resolve anything and I had actually already updated my graphics driver. Still having the issue.

Have you tried reinstalling the game?

There is also an option to right-click on the game in Origin and select "Repair" which can help repair corrupted files. That's worth a try before considering a reinstall. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and I have repaired the installation countless times.

Do you have Origin In-Game disabled and do you use any other overlays like Discord?

Does it do this to you if you perform a clean boot and then immediately launch the game as administrator? This way we can determine if it's a process running in the background causing it to happen.

My character no matter who it be won’t properly run. They will start the animation for a brief second then stop and continue it for half a minute or at least more then 15 seconds. Then I played siege and the operators in there have no problem with running and it’s the same in battlefield 1. Then I tried auto sprint and turned it on. There is still issues in it where he won’t run at first but it is less of a pain to not always repeatedly try and hold down the button to run. I think that this is a big issue for me since it hinders me from running from fights or joining them or even trying to get my friends banner. So if the issue is not fixed I may have to quit cause of this thank you for hearing my plight and I hope everyone has a good day.

I am having the same problem! I happened last night. I've been playing Apex since launch and have had no problems ingame during this time. Except the usual leaf code which is after almost every game... 

Same problem. I jumped into my first game playing with a friend. Suddenly my character stops sprinting and I'm back to walking. Had to press shift to sprint (toggle sprint) again. I didn't know if this was hardware issue with my keyboard, so I jumped into Destiny 2 and didn't have any problems. Also I recently bought a new keyboard, but this has been working as normal in Apex when I first bought it. Now all of the sudden theres a bug with sprinting. And this is long after the latest patch. 

Edit: I don't have any ingame overlays on from Origin or Discord. I had a discord overlay before, but after my mouse bugged out playing Apex I had to disable this.

Do you have any devices plugged into your PC aside from the mouse and keyboard? I've seen some random controllers/joysticks/cameras cause issues like this before.

Well yeah. I do got my headset plugged into one of the USB ports, but other than that, no. And that has been there the entire time. This problem just occurred out of nowhere.

What type of keyboard and mouse combo do you have? I actually saw this happen before for another game and the solution was to pop off the keys and clean the inside. I have to admit I was a culprit of a nasty keyboard because of snacking in between rounds. It can get real nasty underneath if you've owned a keyboard for a while. Since "W" is used for a lot of games as movement, it seems likely there can be a sticking issue underneath the key.
