Sprinting doesn't stop if you release the sprint button

I bring this issue back into highlight as i tried a few games and apparently nothing has changed for the better. People are still trying to circumvent via any means issues that you refuse to fix, issues that shouldn't exist from the first competitive season. Every other respectable BR has a fully manual sprint option, but this does not, did development stop and the game is on MTX life support?
