Bumping this thread.
We did a little more digging on this issue and it seems if the PlayStation controller is plugged in via USB and Steam Input is disabled, the PlayStation icons are displayed.
But if the PlayStation controller is connected via Bluetooth and/or Steam Input is enabled, Apex Legends always defaults to XBox controller icons.
Is there an update on the status of this bug? Thanks.
