What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? LEGION346
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Random moments. Dropping from ship, on the field, in buildings. Random.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Crash happened no matter the action I was doing. Sometimes I didn't even jumped out of the ship.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 1
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 17.02.2019
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Memory error 0x0000 where after "x" there are random numbers. Everytime different. Sometimes there is not even a single error pop up.
What should be happening instead? Game shouldnt be crashing
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I dont know what is really casing the crash

I was experiencing 0xRandomNumbers crash every game during random moments. I was still trying to play despite that trying different methods to solve the issue.
However today I managed to get rid of that problem and played for 6+ hours without any issues. For me it solved the issue but I am not sure if it fixes the issue for good or is it temporary solution. That is why in title I wrote "temporary".
Step by step fix:

1. Download and run memory cleaner and set it to clean memory every 5 minutes and when memory usage reaches 80% like on the Apex fix 2 attachement. Link to the program: https://www.koshyjohn.com/software/memclean/
2. Download Compatibility Manager from this site https://github.com/Skymirrh/CompatibilityManager
3. Add r5apex.exe to it if program wont detect it automatically and set settings as shown on the Apex Fix attachement. If you cant see the attachement:
a) Run this program in compatible mode for: Windows 8
b) Override high DPI scaling behaviour set by application
c) Disable full screen optimalization
d) Run this program as a administrator.
It may looks weird that I set Apex to run with Win 8 compatibility despite having Win 7. But...
4. "Save selected to the registry". Dont turn off the compatilibty manager. Simply save and let it run in the background.
5. Open control panel -> programs -> programs and features -> View installed updates -> Uninstall following updates: KB3174324 and/or KB3172614. Why did I delete those 2 files? Deleting those two files fixes the issue for most of the people on the Windows 8. Now you see why I used compatiblity manager. Otherwise you cant set Apex to run as if you had windows 8 despite not having it. If you have only 1 of those files or none, skip this part I guess.
6. Additionally, run DirectX installer from within game directory. It was one of the methods I used before finding my own "fix".
7. Check your Add/Remove programs for multiple/missing visual C++ redistributables and just install 2017. The newest one.

After using this "fix" game was launching COSIDERABLY longer than it was usually launching but I didn't encounter crash for a long time where previously I was crashing every game. Additionally, I have all my settings in game set to low, Vsync disabled and set borderless mode.

Hope it will help some people and help fixing this problem for good.
