Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. This issue happens pretty much in the entire game.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. The way to reproduce it is to move mouse rapidly (e.g. left and right) with an Razer Viper 8k. It is the mouse polling rate that causers the game to nano-stutter until the mouse has calmed down.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Continuous fast mouse movement cause the game to nano-stutter massively.
What should be happening instead? Mouse movement should be smooth, both in the menus and in the game
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Play with a Razer Viper 8k, with polling rate set to 8000 Hz 2. In an unstarted lobby (or started, or also in-game), rapidly move the mouse left and right 3. The game should stutter immensely while you do that This goes away if the polling rate of 1000 Hz is selected. This highly indicates that something in the game isn't able to handle the 8000 Hz polling rate.
As already mentioned in the previous fields, this issue occurs when the mouse pooling rate is beyond 1000 Hz. Particularly, I observe it consistently when the polling rate is 8000 Hz (Razer Viper 8k). If I set the polling rate to 1000 Hz, the issue goes away:
Issue description: rapid movement of the mouse left and right causes massive nano-stuttering of the game in the lobby or also during a match. In-game, this manifests as un-smooth turning by any angle, which impacts player's awareness during gameplay. Other titles such as CoD: MW or Quake Champions handle this without any stutter.
