Thermite eating health, not shield, after exiting Death Protection

What happens when the bug occurs? Had full purple shield, was struck by a thermite grenade after coming out of death protection from Revenant's Ult. Thermite ate away my health instead of shield, and caused me to crash after bringing health to 0
What should be happening instead? Thermite should be eating away at purple shield instead of health
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Enter Death Protection using Revenant's Ult 2. Let Death Protection expire (Looted purple shield while under death protection) 3. Almost immediately get struck by thermite 4. Thermite should eat away at full shield, instead eats away at health. 5. Health reaches 0, game crashes due to internal error

Was in combat during final rings between Train Yard and Mirage Voyage. Entered death protection using Revenant's Ult (playing Octane) and killed an enemy, looting a purple body shield off of his death box. Death Protection expired soon after, and I was struck by thermite a second later. Instead of eating away at my full purple shield, the thermite ate away the last bit of my health, giving me an internal server error after health reached zero
