UI (and crosshairs) stretched when playing 3440x1440

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. This is a game-wide UI bug, affects main menu and all gameplay
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. This is a game-wide UI bug, affects main menu and all gameplay

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Your UI is stretched when using 3440x1440 resolution. See attached images.
What should be happening instead? Your UI should scale like a good PC game
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a 3440x1440 monitor

    Bumpity bump. Game has been released for like over a year and you can't get UI scaling correct? Embarrassing

    Go into your video config and set a custom resolution, 21:9 is not in the video menu in game?

    videoconfig.txt inside of 

    C:\Users\YOU\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\videoconfig.txt

    Change the lines

    "setting.defaultres"     "3440"

    "setting.defaultresheight"       "1440"

    Those two settings already exist in my video config. 21:9 is in the video menu in game, it's several UI elements that don't scale properly.

    For example, the "[F] Mute Teammates" on the game loading screen is stretched, but once in hero pick it scales correctly (i.e. the exact same text appears stretched and then in proper aspect ratio in different areas of the game). This is a coding issue, not simply a config issue.
