    Thank you for the report!

    Have you tried verifying the file integrity for Apex Legends in Steam to see if that makes any difference? You can find more details on how to verify the files at the Steam Support website.

Yes I have verified the files.

his only happens very occasionally but it has they chance of forcing me to use a random legend when it does.

I update and verify files through steam quite frequently so when this happens I can be fairly sure that that would not have changed anything.

Thanks for following up! 

Have you noticed any consistent pattern of what's happening in-game before this happens? Is it usually the first match of the day, or do you see it happen after you queue up for another game after going back to the lobby?

    Its usually the first match of the day I think. Perhaps the model cache getting loaded is somehow superceding the ui and causing it to not render?

      Hmm, a caching issue is possible. Do you always run into the compiling shaders message when you first start the game?

        No, I only get the compiling shaders message sometimes.
