Unable to gift battle pass Apex Legends

When my friend tries to gift me the battle pass, no matter which console I'm on, even though BOTH of us have 2FA enabled, and both of us have been friends for months now, it just gives him a infinite loading icon even though he also has enough for it.

  • @Mikyg101 Does both of you have an account in good standing?
    (no warnings, bans etc)

Please verify you both check the following:

To send your friend a gift, you need to:
    - Have EA Login Verification turned on,
    - Be Level 10 or higher in Apex Legends,
    - Have enough Apex Coins on your account for the gift,
    - Add the person as a friend in-game
    - Be friends in-game for at least two weeks, platform friendships don’t count,
    - Have sent no more than five gifts in the past 24 hours,
    - Have an account in good standing.

To get gifts from a friend, you need to:
    - Add the person as a friend in-game,
    - Be friends with them for at least two weeks,
    - Have an account in good standing.

So with above said, be sure your friends in Apex and not xbox friends as this is not accounted for.
  • I am having the same problem with gifting, my buddy and I have been friends in game for much longer than two weeks and both of us with accounts in good standing. But when I go to the battle pass screen and select “gift”, not all of my friends are available to select from, just my “EA friends”. So I added him through EA and it still will not show him on my friends lift for gifting, even after I closed the game and re-opened the app multiple times.
