Thanks for following up!

It looks like those particular characters are considered "special" characters, which means the game cannot display them, I'm afraid. That's not something we can work around, unfortunately.

@EA_Kent Damn, thats quite uncool. All my friends know me with this name and other games like cs:go are working correctly with it. Also iam named like this in discord and twitch. Therefor you see no possiblity to forward this to the devs? I mean they already fixed many language problems e.g. chinese and russian that people get their names correctly.

    And its far away from beeing special characters tbh.

    @EA_Kent i would like to push up this topic. Still my username from steam is shown as □□□□ in Apex Legends. Is there any chance in changing my username in Apex Legends without changing my steam username?

    Hi @MY_ID_SEEMS_COOL, 

    I'm afraid not. The username that appears in-game would be your Steam name, and as far as I know there isn't a way to change just the in-game name.

    @EA_Kent Please is there any news on that? Changing a name in Steam just for Apex Legends is for me not an option. Honestly what is the problem in adding thos korean characters? It works in many games, apps and websites.
