Valkyrie Relaunch Glitch

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Accompanying Valkyrie on relaunch

What happens when the bug occurs? When Valkyrie was downed during the tail end of her ultimate, before we could separate in skydive, I (her squadmate) remained tethered even as I was not downed. After landing, my viewpoint was stuck under the map, anchored to a spot connected to Valkyrie's location. I could look around, but not move, and then when my teammate was finished by an enemy Lifeline using the Peace Out finisher, I was teleported to a spot in Siren Isle, where I remained suspended in the air, unable to move, but able to look around, where I died to ring damage. no further issues have occurred at present once I died in-game.
What should be happening instead? Valkyrie's Ultimate should release squadmates into freefall or skydive based on how far along the ultimate animation is.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I presume if you repeat Valkyrie being knocked down at the apex (no pun intended) of her Skyward Dive, with one or more squadmates attached, you could replicate the glitch. My character model was on the right-hand side of Valkyrie during the Ultimate.
