Vantage Bug when pinging enemy location

What happens when the bug occurs? When trying to ping enemy location that is above you, the ping function targets Vantage's bat if the bat is not deployed. This makes it seem like the enemy ping is right on top of you as Vantage and follows your bat when deployed.
What should be happening instead? Enemy targets should be pinged instead of your bat
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Aim down sights with any weapon. Look up from default view to 60 degrees or more. Don't deploy bat. Ping enemy location. Stop aiming down sights. Enemy ping should be on bat instead of pinged location, which will be right on top of you. This also occurs with any ping function as long as you execute the previous mentioned steps. Ping follows bat once you deploy.
