Very Unstable Patch on PS5

Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Any part of the menu, doesn't seem to matter.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Clicking through menu items, selecting a Legend, changing game modes, etc.

What happens when the bug occurs? The game hard crashes, and reverts to Sony's crash-report menu.
What should be happening instead? Not crashing.

Immediately after the patch went live, the lobby menus became unstable. The game is crashing 5-6 times a session, forcing restart. The severity of the crash is worsening, causing the console to freeze and requiring a hard reboot and memory repair procedure. There doesn't seem to be a strict pattern: it doesn't seem to matter what menu items I use. If I avoid the menus, it doesn't seem to crash as often. I'm guessing there's a memory leak in the menu somewhere, or a bad index counter.
