What happens when the bug occurs? In game audio chat is choppy and it is impossible to communicate in match between Xbox series S and Playstation 5. My teammate can hear me fine but I am unable to communicate properly with him because I cannot hear his responses. This seems to be an issue with other players as well since the upgrade on 3/29/2022 to the present. This severely impacts our ability to play as a team
What should be happening instead? I should be able to communicate with my team
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play on Xbox series s or x in a party with ps5 and try to communicate

There has been major issues with in game chat on console. Non of my teammates can hear because it cuts in and out and i can't hear anyone because of the same issues. Xbox part chat works great but cant always run that when soloing. I make sure setting were stereo uncompressed and still issues. @EA_Atic thanks for your help!

Game chat on the Xbox series x does not work and I am unable to communicate in-game chat with teammates. Why does every apex update spawn new bugs and why does it seem like this only happens to apex? Respawn needs better QA testers, Jesus.

Xbox series x players probably make up 1-2% of the games total population. Running a business if only 1-2% of people are unhappy you’ll continue running the business as is.
that seems like it’s the case here. It’s been 4 months. 2 new seasons. New ranked system where communication is super key, but we can’t communicate.
there’s been nothing given to us for our issue. Free coins? Nah we’re making money on everything else.
game is pointless. Admins in this chat are even more pointless. Developers? Absolutely worthless.
waiting for the new COD to come out so all the big names hop back over and then maybe they’ll start working on a solution as their concurrent user count will be lowered substantially

As multiple other threads have stated, game chat has been broken on Xbox series X/S consoles every since the next gen update came out. It’s been almost 3 months and all we’ve gotten is a “we’re aware of then problem and we’re working on it.” And it’s a load of garbage. I can hear my friends just fine but they’re not able to hear me at all. Game chat is a basic function of any online game, especially one with cross play capabilities. I can barely play with my friends and I’m almost to the point of uninstalling the game all together. EA, please get it together. You’re going to lose loyal fans over something that shouldn’t have taken more than a week to resolve.
- 3 years ago@KierstynLynn I’ve tried everything Google and other forums told me to do and I too am having this issue but the other way around I can talk I can’t hear no one unless they are in a Xbox party with me

Game chat is not working on my series x. Tried clearing MAC and re-installing the game and nothing. I can hear them but no one can hear me.

As many of us are aware game chat for series X players has been broken since the Warriors Collection event back in March of this year. The only acknowledgement we've received is the same generic "yea we know about it so shut up and be patient" type of response. When will we see ACTION take place to resolve the issue? Probably when hell freezes over tbh. Sorry for the passive aggressiveness here but its 2022 and having this poor of a response to in game issues is unacceptable at this point.

Game chat broke. They dont fix. We sad and mad. Fix it

This is beyond a joke how, almost 3 MONTHS AND NO FIX NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT NO NOTHING.
I’ve given up on this game and the lack of support they’ve given to Xbox players, how many people need to report this for it to be even ACKNOWLEDGED!?
It’s honestly so disheartening and frustrating for your teammates to not hear a single word your saying it’s that bad.
