Xbox game chat bug post update 3/29/2022

Just adding to the choir of voices here. XBox Series S|X game chat is "choppy," "robotic," "sped up," and "unintelligible" ever since the next-gen update. Headset works fine on other games and on other platforms (e.g. PC). Would definitely appreciate any sort of update that indicates this issue is recognized and being worked on.

They cant seriously be launching the new update without fixing the xbox game chat issues we've had for over a month

It’s actually embarrassing that it’s been over 30 days and game Chat still does not work 

like EA you give zero * about Xbox x players / next gen….

the fact that this thread has been open for 30 days and there have been ZERO changes or fixes 

Like how do we play ranked without game chat? You guys are ignoring millions of players who have had a problem for 30+ days straight

How has this not been patched yet it is so frustrating 

I don't understand how they can continue to ignore this. I thought the only reason all other posts were ignored is because they were planning a fix with today's update. Now I am really losing all faith in the team at Apex.

What happens when the bug occurs? My in game microphone no longer works on the xbox series x after the next gen update was released. I have opened a case with EA and have followed up a handful of times and was asked to open a question here instead. I have seen this issue posted across multiple sites so im sure people here are already aware of the issue but I will still post my experience thus far. I use an Astro A40TR and my in game microphone worked perfectly fine the day before the update came out and also worked every day before that. Things I have tried: Turned in game chat off and on Turned mic off and on Muted/Unmuted mic Used different microphone Used different microphone power cable Uninstalled/Reinstalled mic firmware Uninstalled/Reinstalled Apex Cleared MACs on xbox side Soft reset Xbox Hard Reset Xbox Factory Reset Xbox Updated controller firmware I went out and bought an xbox one X and the microphone works fine there. Friends on other versions of the xbox also do not have this issue. I am able to use in game chat when I am in PC lobbies via cross platform with friends on my Series X. This is specific to the next gen update. My in game mic symbol pops up but will not activate when I use my mic My xbox party chat works fine. My microphone works fine on every other pc and xbox game that I own.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to talk
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy an xbox series x and try to use in game chat while playing Apex

My xbox party chat works fine. My microphone works fine on every other pc and xbox game that I own.

If there are other things you can suggest for me to try I am more than willing to give anything a shot as nothing seems to work. 

This very much seems to be on their side.

Will continue to follow up with them on an update to fix this.

@fr0stb11te An entire season update out today and EA still hasn't addressed this issue. My mind is blown!

I know I was SHOCKED that they didn't fix it. This is ridiculous and shouldn't be happening!
