Apex settings resetting by itself

I very recently logged into apex and it came up with the licensing agreement I accepted it without a second thought to find that when it logged in my settings in all aspects had completely reset to default including fov and audio settings.

I have played the game since the day it came out and have used custom settings for some time now so being forced to run default settings just to play the game in of itself is an issue for me but to have to set the settings up everytime I login due to being a linear player and not a classic player is an even bigger issue nevermind using my custom settings. 

I am an Xbox player and I can’t be the only one experiencing this issue so if someone can provide me with a solution and respawn fix this that would be great because it’s annoying thx.
