Couldn't play apex on the weekend, booted up the game today and the sensor rotation I applied in Rawaccel doesn't work anymore as soon as I start the game. Is this a bug? Do I have to add something to my autoexec to get it working again?
The game is unplayable for me because I need sensor rotation for my weird **bleep** mouse grip. EA pls fix, love this game :(
Since today I have the same with Custom Curve pro, yesterday it was working fine
Someone at respawn, must have done something
Because in any others games, even with EAC, it is working, but as long as Apex legends is open, it is disabled
Which is annoyance to me, because Apex legends is the perfect ground to work on my profile

wxshedPHiX & Shanska Sadly, if you are seeing an error, (such as the one shown below), that usually means that Respawn had blocked the game from running while the program in question is active, (which this does means that you would need to stop, (or uninstall), the program in order to launch and play the game).
Furthermore, I don't recommend attempting to get the program working again, as doing so can potentially lead to a ban, (however you can try adjusting the in-game or Windows mouse settings instead):
Apex Legends -> In-Game Settings -> Mouse/KeyboardWindows System Settings -> Bluetooth & Devices -> MouseAlternative Windows mouse setting:
Windows Search Bar -> "Change the Mouse Pointer Display or Speed" -> Click on First ResultOk, number 1, Those software aren't a cheat.
Number 2, It is not blocking us to play the game or no error of such, it just deactivates the feed from it, like it isn't activated from our side. (For what I member', it was an option in overwatch, etc, to have "raw input" which seems to be deactivated since today).
And number 3, no thank you, to have a busted mouse acceleration pattern from windows.
The goal of those software is to make your own curve, so you can customise your own aim, not getting one that would yeet it into space.

Neither me nor any of my friends get that error. Rawaccel is just a mouse driver with more settings that valorant pros even use on lan.

Edit: Razer and Pulsar Mice have this feature included in their drivers, it's not cheating.

That sounds like Respawn wanted the game to use its own mouse input setting over Window's or any other program you have installed, however I don't know the exact reason why it is being overridden, (if it is being overridden).

The screenshots are from me, however my mouse is controlled by Razer Synapse which doesn't have the setting enabled nor does it let Windows take control of my mouse either to my knowledge.

wxshedPHiX The error usually shows when you attempt to play the game with a program that Respawn doesn't allow.
If you aren't seeing the error, (or ones like it), then chances are it is not a blocked program, but since it is not working, the game is most likely overriding it.

I hold my mouse at an angle too, however I don't think it is at a steep angle like how you hold your mouse, so I'm not sure what you could do instead to achieve the same results.

As someone who owns a Razer mouse and keyboard myself, I do remember seeing something about that in the Razer Synapse settings, however if Respawn had decided to override the program, I don't think there is much that can be done outside of the in-game or Windows settings, (which is also why I had suggested both options).
Oh it is being overwritten by Apex, that's for sure, since it is only when apex legends is open that it's removing all the feed from the app (I can see it, on custom curve, you see the speed of your cursor in it, which allow you to tune it and while apex is on, it's just not working, heck I could even do a gif with imgur) lol

I don't like the idea, that as long as it comes from the official mouse/keyboard software it is allowed, but if you find a niche software that does the same, you are not allowed to use it
Heck I don't even want to play like most Apex pro with a controller with 40/60% aim assist, if this is the direction devs want, ok, I was coming back only because apex was the best playground to tune my profile
I guess it's time to let apex dies
