After redeeming code from streamer. Xbox error saying... "You're too early"

I just redeemed my early access code, watching a streamer. Connected to my Gamertag and EA account.

Before this, I purchased the base game on Xbox. When I try and open the game, it gives me the error message... 

"You're too early. We know you want to get started, but you'll have to wait a bit longer. Check the Microsoft Store for the Launch Date.

    I have the code from the twitch stream and entered it into EA. When I go to play the game on my Xbox, I get a prompt saying you’re too early. Is this known issue or did I do something wrong? It says I have to wait till the 9th for the beta. I have restarted my console and uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
